More info: "[...]pre-screening of the film “Forks Over Knives” happening tomorrow night (Wednesday) at the Belcourt Theatre (flyer attached).
Forks Over Knives is a revolutionary film that examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the so-called “diseases of affluence” that are epidemic in our country can be controlled, or even reversed through a whole foods plant based diet. The film follows the personal journeys of a pair of researchers, Dr. T. Colin Campbell, author of “The China Study” and Dr. Caldwell B. Esselstyn, Jr., who is famous for his dramatic results in reversing and curing heart disease.
The event is sponsored by Whole Foods: http://wholefoodsmarket.com/storesbeta/nashville/
This exclusive pre-screening (the movie will not be in theaters until March 2011) will benefit The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. Over 50% of our firefighters who die in the line of duty are dying from heart attacks and strokes. Please come and support our firefighters and their families and learn more about the impact of nutrition on disease.
